Are you a self-motivated expert in the field who has experience of delivering national programmes? Can you develop and maintain positive relationships with partners to ensure the voices of the children and youth of the Church are heard? Can you guide, manage and support strategic change, that will lead on to confidence and growth? We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead the Church in relation to the ministry of the children and young people within it.

Cambridge
Salary £38,511 - £48,743 or URC Minister’s stipend

We are searching for a scholar and teacher with a passion for assisting church and academy in exploring Church history, and especially the Reformed tradition, as they shape the faith, practice and mission of the Church today. Applicants must be educated to PhD level and be able to demonstrate on their application form that their PhD has either been awarded, or is close to being awarded. In the latter case any offer of this post may well be made subject to successful awarding of a candidate’s PhD.

North Western Synod of the United Reformed Church

MISSION AND DISCIPLESHIP ADVOCATES

Salary £34,000

Are you passionate about the gospel and do you have the skills and experience to enthuse, enable and equip God’s people in their local setting to participate more effectively in God’s mission today?

We are seeking to appoint three people to join a team delivering the Synod’s Missional Discipleship strategy.  The appointees will work across the Synod but will mainly be geographically focused with one person working with congregations in Lancashire and the other two working with churches in Greater Manchester – one in the north and the other in the south.

Westminster College, Cambridge

The Governors of Westminster have created this brand new post within the core teaching staff team of the college. This new post will focus upon the creation and delivery of our resources for lay training and local congregational events, including the resourcing of Elders, Lay Preachers, local leaders and others. You will build upon the developments already completed to equip Westminster as a Resource Centre for Learning for the whole people of God. We are searching for a teacher, advocate, innovator and organiser with a passion for assisting and equipping local churches in their explorations of faith, discipleship and mission in the United Reformed Church’s many contexts. Applicants must be educated to undergraduate level at least.
