URC joins campaign to help end poverty

The United Reformed Church (URC) has joined Let’s End Poverty, a major new social movement launched to help bring an end to poverty experienced throughout the UK.

The campaigns urges people to call for politicians to make the end of poverty part of their party policies and their manifestos for the next General Election.

Let’s End Poverty brings together the voices of people experiencing poverty, faith groups, charities and other organisations determined to see change.

In this short film, the Revd Dr Tessa Henry-Robinson, Moderator of the URC General Assembly, reflects on why she is motivated to end poverty.
