The Revd Dr Tessa Henry-Robinson has been elected Moderator-elect for the Free Churches Group. Tessa will serve in that capacity for a year before becoming Moderator in spring 2025.
Day four of General Assembly took place on 15 July and begun with worship and a Bible study followed by the question “To which new thing might God be calling?” asked by the Revd Stephen Ansa-Addo, Chaplain to the General Assembly Moderator.
Day three of the 2024 General Assembly of the United Reformed Church began with worship and “marching in the light of God”, to the rhythm of drums played by the Moderator’s chaplain, the Revd Stephen Ansa-Addo.
Day two of the URC 2024 General Assembly continued at The Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick on 13 July.
