What happened to the 2020 Community Project Awards?

The 2020 Community Project Award winners will be announced at the URC’s General Assembly in July 2021, as will the winners of the 2021 awards. Judging of the 2020 Award was postponed due to disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

What are the Community Project Awards?

For more than a decade, the URC, supported by Congregational, has organised the Community Project Awards. The awards scheme recognises inspiring community projects that take place in local churches with a URC connection.

The scheme rewards innovative projects that meet a local demand and have a positive affect on community life.
