Southern Synod
Ministers, CRCWs and local church leaders from around Southern Synod recently enjoyed four days of inspirational training at High Leigh Conference Centre. Revd Memona Shabaz, called it a “great opportunity to praise, worship, and learn together”.
Yorkshire Synod
Westfield URC in Wyke recently enjoyed a weekend celebrating 200 years of worship and witness in its community. Church Secretary Katy Lonsdsale said: “We are so grateful to God for the vision, faith and commitment of our founder Benjamin Firth, and his supporters who started our church all that time ago.”
Wessex Synod
Congratulations to the Revd Richard Davis who was given a receives a certificate marking the 50th anniversary of his ordination, in the second picture with his wife the Revd Trish Davis
North Western Synod
A group from the East Cheshire and Derbyshire Borders Missional partnership enjoyed a walk across the Millennium Walkway and surrounding beautiful countryside in New Mills on 12 May.
The walk was organised following a conversation at a steering group about enabling each other to flourish.
Elsewhere across the synod, New Chapel URC in Horwich has replanted its cross and over the next few weeks, the flowers should flourish bringing joy to all who go past.
