We are seeking immediate nominations and applications for Case Presenting Officer to be part of the process for dealing with cases of discipline involving Ministers or Church-Related Community Workers. This is a volunteer role that is crucial in ensuring the integrity of the disciplinary process.
The URC’s disciplinary process is undergoing a significant review and will emerge with a new process. We need people who will play a vital part in the process to prepare and present relevant cases and work with ministers or CRCW’s. You will need to be familiar with key policies, excellent communication skills and a competent with digital technology.
If you enjoy working with in a team and managing your own workload this could be a great opportunity to gain some valuable experience in this field.
Each case would take a few days to fully prepare for over a few weeks, and normally 1 to 2 days for hearings. The number of cases in a year is variable and negotiable.
