Moderator - Yorkshire Synod

Salary: Minister’s stipend
Full time, 7 year termed appointment

General Assembly wishes to appoint a United Reformed Church minister to serve as Yorkshire Synod Moderator from a date no later than July 2020.

Yorkshire synod seeks an inspirational and creative individual to engage with the synod’s existing and developing missional programmes.Your leadership, across all aspects of the synod, will demonstrate pastorally grounded sensitivity to the needs of ministers to our diverse range of churches and communities as well as showing a willingness to identify, nurture and foster new patterns of ministry and leadership in every area of synod life. 
You will be a discerning listener and a gifted communicator, who embraces good team working and is able to evaluate and reflect spiritually about the life of the church in its various settings. You will have a passion for social justice, the environment and advocacy for communities facing challenges and demonstrate a strong commitment to building relationships ecumenically and with other faith groups.
