Holiday Club Materials

Welcome to our holiday club materials page. Here you will find free resources that contain suggestions for a holiday club for 5 to 11-year-olds. It also contains appendices for intergenerational, toddlers, 11 to 14s and vintage holiday clubs.

You can download the whole resource theme, individual sections, activity sheets, colouring-in sheets, music sheets and lyrics, and additional drama – build your holiday club your way.

Each holiday we produce a new theme, but the material is not designed to be prescriptive, although you may use it that way if you wish. Feel free to swap and change the ideas included here for ones you think are more suitable for your groups.

Time Travellers

Welcome to the Time Travellers - a free downloadable resource for those running holiday clubs for children aged between 5-11 years of age.

Tying in with our theme for the year, Jubilee, we are travelling through time together to meet some of the children of the Bible and see what they can teach us about following God, listening to God, meeting with God, belonging to God and worshipping God – what can we bring back with us to the present day and our ongoing journey of faith?

This material is not designed to be prescriptive, although you may use it that way if you wish. Nor is it designed to be exclusive; feel free to swap and change the ideas included here for ones you think more suitable for your groups. It is written as a five-day plan but you may decide to do a one-day extravaganza, a club once a week through the holidays, or maybe just select a couple of the sessions to do on two or three days in the week.

You can adapt this holiday club material in a variety of ways and the appendices at the back of the resource will give you suggestions and ideas of how to do so for various different settings.

Snapshots

Welcome to Snapshots - a free downloadable resource for those running holiday clubs for children aged between 5-11 years of age.

Tying in with our theme for the year, Love is… , we are exploring a dusty old photograph album in God’s attic, seeing what the photographs in there can tell us about our relationship with God. Adventurous, belonging, creative, brave and surprising…. Our relationship with God’s love takes all sorts of different shapes but is always something quite special.

Sparks and Stories

Welcome to Sparks and Stories - a free downloadable resource for those running holiday clubs for children aged between 5-11 years of age.

Tying in with our theme for the year, Story Story Story , we are gathering round the campfire, wrapped in our cosy camp blankets and armed with steaming mugs of hot chocolate and marshmallows on sticks to toast in the flames, as we listen to and share stories of Jesus together. What stories did Jesus tell and what stories were told about him? How does his story mingle with our stories? Let’s find out.

This material is not designed to be prescriptive, although you may use it that way if you wish.
