
The URC's Mission covers several areas of work. We are also linked to a number of networks. Together we work with the whole church to bring alive our vision of 'being Christ's people, transformed by the gospel, making a difference to the world'.


Francis Brienen is Secretary for Mission and co-ordinates the Mission Team. She is involved in developing a mission strategy for the church and supports the Vision4Life programme.
Helen Garton is the Administrator for Ecumenical and World Church Relations. She deals, in particular, with the Belonging to the World Church Programme.
Gill Hillman is the Administrator for Commitment for Life.
Michael Jagessar is the Secretary for Racial Justice and Multicultural Ministry. He helps the church to live out its declaration that it is a multicultural church in the whole of its ministry, mission and ethos.
Graham Jones is the National Rural Officer and supports and encourages the life and witness of local churches in rural communities. He is based at the Arthur Rank Centre in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
Frank Kantor is Secretary for Church and Society and helps the church give expression to the peace and justice aspects of our faith. He is part of the Joint Public Issues Team of the Methodist, United Reformed and Baptist Churches.
Linda Mead is the Commitment for Life co-ordinator. The programme gives churches an opportunity to be involved in global justice and development through campaigning, fundraising and worship.
David Tatem is Secretary for Ecumenical Relations and services the church’s ecumenical networks and maintains relations with other churches in the UK and the wider European region.
Jane Rowell is the Secretary for Word Church Relations. Her work is focused on a range of partnerships throughout the global church.
Tracey Hardingham is PA to both the Secretary for Mission and Secretary for Racial Justice and Multicultural Ministry.
Wendy Cooper is the Administrator for Church and Society. She is also part of the Joint Public Issues Team (United Reformed, Baptist, Methodist).
