Scotland’s BIG Praise!

The Synod of Scotland has always prided itself in caring for its young people, making sure they have a voice and responding to their concerns in Synod meetings, regional clusters and local churches alike.

As such, when the Synod of Scotland’s Youth Forum expressed their wish for more opportunities to come together and do different things (see video), the Synod was ready to respond, gathering from around Scotland for the first ever ‘BIG Praise’.

Young people spent the day rehearsing, getting to know each other better and, very importantly, eating pizza. The ultimate aim of these endeavors? To design, organise and deliver a service of praise and thanksgiving which everyone could enjoy. And, of course, to have fun whilst doing it!

In the evening, family and friends joined the young people in worship, where they shared the music they had prepared, accompanied by a brilliant band, ‘5 Strings’.
